Unusual Venues are a family-run business that host events in three exclusive, unique venues. The Caves venue is a sub-structure of the 18th Century South Bridge, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Rowantree venue is a renovated, celebrated tavern that was once mentioned in Robert Ferguson’s poem “Cauler Oysters”. Finally, Marlin’s Wynd is a venue with original structures dating back to the early 1500s and late 1700s. Unusual Venues provides a plethora of quirky, historic spaces for you to host an iconic gay wedding.
The company’s venues are all licensed for ceremonies. The caves can host up to 150 guests for your ceremony, The Rowantree can host up to 70 and Marlin’s Wynd can host up to 50. There are options for additional evening guests across all venues.
