Talyllyn Railway is one of the most unique wedding venues in the UK. Set in southern Snowdonia, it’s is the oldest preserved railway in the world. It was originally opened in 1865 and still operates steam trains! The track takes you along a scenic route through ancient woodlands and offers sights of one of Britain’s highest mountains, Cadair Iris.
The train itself isn’t licensed for ceremonies but the ceremony will be held at Abergynolwyn Station. The train will then take you on a journey to your reception which will be held at Tywyn Station.
