Steff & Ells Photo and Film is a Bristol-based photography and videography company that specializes in capturing LGBTQ weddings. The team (Steff and Ells!) is passionate about marriage equality and believes that everyone deserves the right to marry the person they love, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. They are committed to capturing the raw emotions of every moment, whether it’s a wedding, engagement session, or family shoot, and delivering memories that can be cherished for a lifetime.

One of the things that sets Steff & Ells apart is their ability to make their clients feel at ease in front of the camera. They avoid posed situations and focus on capturing natural and flattering results. The team is based in South West England but is available to film and photograph weddings and events all over the UK and Europe.

Steff & Ells have a unique story, having met in 2009 but going their separate ways for eight years before reuniting in 2017. During their time apart, they lived two different but similar lives, and since reuniting, they’ve travelled the world and honed their media skills. They’ve found their path in photography and videography and love working side by side to capture magical moments.

Ells started their videography journey while traveling with Steff, documenting their adventures with a tiny GoPro. Ells has since achieved some incredible things, including becoming an Assistant Director on a film with the National Youth Film Academy in 2022 and working on their documentary about societal pressures. Steff has had a professional camera since she was 19 and has finally jumped headfirst into the freelancing photography world, loving every moment of it.

Steff & Ells love seaside walks, discovering cute little villages, climbing mountains, and travelling in their DIY campervan Rhapsody. They are committed to capturing LGBTQ weddings with a contemporary photography style that is unique and authentic.
