The Old Wardour Castle is a ruined 14th century fortified residence. Formerly the home of wealthy courtier and soldier, John, Lord Lovell. The medieval castle has a distinct hexagonal shape. The grounds consist of the ruins, an Elizabethan mansion and a Civil War battleground. The 18th-century garden provides an intimate photoshoot spot. Old Wardour is perfect for those looking for a unique location for a fairytale gay wedding.
The castle venue is licensed for ceremonies and can host up to 60 guests in The Pavilion. The Castle Room can host up to 40 guests.
