Castaway, Portland

Castaway is a gorgeous, open industrial events space located on the edge of the Pearl District near the Willamette River. The warehouse dates back to 1929, working as a rope-making factory for the original Portland Street Car. The carefully restored building opened in 2014, now recognised as one of Portland’s most awarded venues. The building features 14′ foot ceilings, exposed wooden beams and awe-inspiring sash steel windows. The covered outdoor patio is ideal for a cocktail hour whatever the weather and offers guests views out to the Fremont Bridge. There are around 10,000 square feet of open-plan space for you to play with, it’s the perfect venue for a chic gay wedding.

The venue can host a maximum of 400 seated guests, 600 standing and there are options for 900 guests indoor/outdoor.
